Slabs Under Six Feet

Denver Wood Slabs carries a rotating selection of small wood slabs — kiln-dried live edge pieces under six feet long, ideal for coffee tables, side tables, floating shelves, wall art, and accent pieces. We stock walnut, elm, ash, white oak, and other species at our Washington Street warehouse in RiNo, all dried on-site using our vacuum kiln.

Shorter slabs often have the most character in our inventory. Without the constraints of table-length proportions, smaller slabs tend to show more figure, more live edge variation, and more of the natural features — voids, burls, crotches — that make live edge wood distinctive. If you are looking for a statement piece rather than a workhorse surface, this is where to start.

All our small wood slabs are calibrated to Colorado’s dry interior climate, so what you install stays flat and stable — whether the slab came from a Denver backyard or a Midwest farm.
